Items will appear at random on the field or thrown from the audience around the stadium. To obtain an item, simply run through the box to add it to your inventory. You can only hold two items at any time in Mario Strikers: Battle League. The color of the box will determine whether you can use it, with rainbow-colored boxes available to both teams, while team-specific boxes in single colors can only be collected by said team.
