Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is set during the events of Cyberpunk: 2077. Players of 2077 will likely notice the locations, factions, and even characters from the game during the show’s runtime. The events in the show are cannon to the game. To be exact, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners takes place at the beginning or middle point of V’s journey through Night City. While the show Edgerunners focuses on its original cast of characters, your V is somewhere in the city, becoming a Night City legend.
