Why Did Cassian Andor Inherit Nemik’s Manifesto?
Nemik gave Cassian the manifesto to convince him that the Rebel cause is worth fighting for. Cassian joins the Aldhani mission as a mercenary, and Nemik felt that he would be happier fighting against the Empire because it’s the right thing to do. Based on Cassian’s actions in Rogue One, Nemik’s manifesto ideas eventually get through to him. Another benefit of Nemik passing on the manifesto is that it represents the young rebel’s legacy. He had a lot of life to live that was taken from him, but his manifesto contains the beliefs that define him, and it lives on through Cassian. His death was especially sad because he survived a shootout just to be crushed by payroll records while Cassian was speeding through the Eye of Aldhani. That’s all we have on why Nemik gave Cassian Andor his manifesto. Check out some of our other Andor content, like what the Rakatan Empire is and the pill Dedra Meero takes.
